Post processor script development (S3D/Prusa Slic3r support)
Found the problem with the z-value rounding. Fixed in cfgfiles branch.

About cfgfiles: been testing it quite intensively and it has been productive; found even some old bugs about retraction and some new ones caused by S3D version 4. Been fixing those and also tuning the cfgfiles branch so it should be ready to be merged to master and new release to be made. I'll need to update the README also.

But it's looking good so far.

Hey,

Quick question, is there anyway to print with larger layer heights, using this tool?

Thanks,

Not at the moment, there's an issue open about layer heights in github and it's on my todo list

Good to hear, no rush but it will be nice to go bigger as I plan on putting a .6mm nozzle.

What do you think on my little project I've been working on, lol.

Nozzle size is also hardcoded to 0.4 at the moment, although it shouldn't matter as much, bigger nozzles aren't just utilized as well they could be. Need to add some flow calculations etc. so proper amount of material is extruded.

Nice, that looks interesting. How well do the extruders work? I've interested about those gears that grip on both sides. Also like how smaal that extruder body is.

Ok finally got the big changes tested well enough at least for my own liking. So v0.16.0 is released  Cool

https://github.com/spegelius/filaswitch/...ag/v0.16.0

Big changes, here's a summary:
  • versioning update (x.x to x.x.x)
  • filament switch configuration to hw config files
  • tower printing refactored
  • PrusaMMU support (thanks to https://github.com/paukstelis)
  • bugfixes all around
  • more checks to print file sanity
  • Prusa Slic3r print setting parsing fixes
  • Simplify3D temperature handling fixes
  • README updated with more info
  • probably more...
There are few new hw configs to test out. Previous configs should work like before and the new configs add some new features. Also not all of the new Prusa-type features are enabled, so have a look at the config files and enable them if you want to test them out.

Version 0.16.1 released.

This is a minor bugfix release for Windows user; filaswitch.bat wasn't accepting arguments as it should and it's fixed now.
https://github.com/spegelius/filaswitch/...ag/v0.16.1

Next, probably see if I can get other layer heights supported. Also an Octoprint autoupload feature was suggested, which like and will probably implement at some point.
